Benelli in Milan, Three groundbreaking bikes unveiled and brand changes - MotoGB at EICMA 2026 Live!

The doors are open at EICMA 2026, and the MotoGB media team is live on the ground in Milan. The exhibition halls are filled with the latest motorcycle reveals from across the globe, and the Benelli stand is one of our main stops this week. Their presentation highlights a fascinating transition for the historic brand, debuting a completely modernised visual identity and clean logo alongside an array of advanced powertrains and high-end chassis architecture. 3 bikes, all unveiled at EICMA.

Welcoming the Three-Cylinder Masterpiece – Tornado Naked III [Tre 903]

The climax of the press conference belonged to an absolute jaw-dropper of an engineering showcase: the Tornado Naked III, also known as the Tornado Naked Tre 903. Operating as a high-tech experimental laboratory for the brand's future design philosophy, this machine marks an emotional and highly anticipated return to Benelli’s historic three-cylinder high-performance roots. It commands the floor with radical, futuristic bodywork highlighted by a minimalist front flyscreen that serves a dual purpose, functioning as a high-pressure ram-air duct to force air directly down into the motor's intake to boost performance under acceleration.

Beneath the body panels sits a compact, lightweight three-cylinder engine weighing only 56 kg that is built to scream all the way up to an incredible 14,000 RPM ceiling. Rather than relying on a conventional single-piece frame layout, the chassis utilizes an innovative modular architecture broken into three completely independent sections—a front end, a central bridge, and a rear unit, letting the designers completely eliminate traditional geometry and handling compromises. The mechanical packaging is incredibly extreme, going as far as to completely embed the exhaust system straight into the carbon fibre frame structure so that a core functional part doubles as a dominant styling piece.

The advanced aerodynamic and tech suite on this concept includes:

  • Active Aerodynamics: Houses retractable active winglets that mechanically deploy outward when maximum front-end downforce is required, flowing flat back into the fairings during standard cruising to keep the bike's silhouette pure and clean.
  • Simplified Cockpit: Utilizes an integrated, ultra-high-resolution digital dashboard cleanly embedded into the upper triple clamp to minimize visual clutter and keep the rider focused entirely on the road.
  • Carbon Fiber Architecture: Features structural carbon fiber frame modules that minimize mass while allowing for the complex, seamless integration of the bike's internal routing and hot exhaust pathways.

The Mid-Week Special: Tracking the Heavyweight Naked Additions – Tornado Naked Twin 700

The wraps have also been pulled off the upcoming Benelli Tornado Naked Twin 700, expanding their sports naked segment aggressively into the mid-weight tier. Sharing the sharp, signature design language of its smaller 550 stablemate, the 700 is built to bring serious tarmac performance to the streets. The bike presents an exceptionally premium component package, pairing fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks with high-performance Brembo brake callipers and a lightweight aluminium swingarm out back, ensuring incredibly sharp handling on twisty roads.

Beneath the fairings sits an evolved version of the twin-cylinder engine utilized in the TRK 702 series, heavily revised to deliver sharper throttle response, more torque, and higher peak power. The engine upgrades are managed by an advanced ride-by-wire system and a seamless quick shifter module. Built to balance sportiness with everyday usability, the bike comes heavily equipped with premium electronics, including a high-resolution TFT dashboard, cruise control, heated grips, and a factory-fitted heated seat to handle cold-weather commuting.

Upgrading the Champion – TRK 602 X

The sheets have dropped on the final production version of the Benelli TRK 602 X, ready to hit roads for the upcoming season. Taking up the heavy legacy of the brand's true sales champion, the TRK 502, this new generation completely renews the aesthetic with slimmer and cleaner proportions. Crucially, it manages this visual sharpening while fully preserving the generous equipment package, excellent wind protection, and top-tier riding comfort that made the original TRK family so successful globally.

A technical breakdown confirms a major performance leap under the revised bodywork, swapping the old motor for a fresh 550cc engine that delivers more torque and stronger overall performance. The standard machine pushes a nimble 48 horsepower, with the built-in capability to be increased up to 56 horsepower. Accessibility gets a huge boost thanks to a lower 825mm seat height, which works alongside upgraded Marzocchi forks and rear suspension to significantly improve real-world handling. On the electronics front, the cockpit comes loaded with a premium 5-inch TFT digital dashboard capable of connecting to mobile phones for incoming calls and messages, backed by a built-in navigation system, traction control, and two selectable riding modes.

The integrated overlanding cycle parts package features:

  • Chassis and Accessibility: Upgraded front forks and rear suspension paired with an accessible 825mm seat height designed to open up adventure touring to a wider range of riders.
  • Electronics and Rider Aids: A comprehensive tech suite integrating a dual-mode power map, switchable traction control, and a full navigation setup directly on the dash.
  • Smart Cockpit Display: A high-resolution 5-inch TFT console featuring smart mobile pairing to comfortably monitor your notifications, phone calls, and incoming messages while on the move.

Evolution, Core Tech, and shifting Gears

Rather than focusing solely on steel and rubber, Benelli used the presentation to lay out a massive technological roadmap, changing everything from how the brand looks to how its upcoming bikes shift gears.

Visual Rebirth: The New Logo and Identity

Benelli is officially entering a high-energy new chapter, marked by the world debut of a completely overhauled brand identity and redesigned logo. Developed after extensive research into the company's historic archives by its Centro Stile design house, the new visual framework preserves the manufacturer's most iconic heritage symbols while cleaning up the lines into a sharp, minimalist style built for the digital age.

The AMT Revolution: Leoncino Bobber 400

Marking an unprecedented engineering shift for the brand, the new Leoncino Bobber 400 serves as the launching pad for Benelli’s innovative Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) system. This setup strips away traditional shifting hassles by giving the rider total freedom over their commute—allowing them to kick back and let the bike change gears completely automatically, or take direct control by manually toggling through gears using streamlined electronic controls mounted straight to the handlebar.

Catalog-Wide Tech Infusions and Refreshers

The engineering teams didn't leave their existing favourites behind, pushing a wave of technical updates across the mainstream lineup. The highly successful TRK 702 and TRK 702X adventure models receive a much richer technology suite on board alongside a fresh palette of colors and updated graphic sets. Simultaneously, the daily commuter BKS family steps firmly into the future by standardizing a vibrant, premium 5-inch TFT digital dashboard across the entire model range.

Designed in Pesaro since 1911

Benelli has been doing this for over 115 years. Every single bike they bring to Milan carries the design language and grit that started back in Pesaro in 1911. Their goal hasn’t changed a bit: they want to build great-looking, reliable motorcycles that everyday riders can actually afford to own and love.
